HDR Photography Workshop:  HDR is an acronym for High Dynamic Range. Dynamic Range is basically the difference between the lightest light and the darkest dark you can capture in a photo. It's a challenge to accurately capture both ends of this spectrum, but there is a way.

Join us for this workshop to learn more about HDR Photography.

I-74 Challenge

Two camera clubs located along I-74, The Bloomington KodaRoamers and the Champaign County Camera Club, meet annually with 50 digital images from their club to compete for points on a certain topic. At our May 6th club meeting, we will select 50 images to send to the competition. Each member participating from our Club is guaranteed one entry.

This year's topic is Complementary Colors. Complementary colors are directly opposite each other in the color spectrum, such as red and green or blue and orange, that when combined in the right proportions, produce white light.

CCCC is hosting this year. More information to come.

CICCA Spring Salon

This is our 2nd big print and digital competition of the year with neighboring Camera Clubs in the CICCA Association.  This is different from the CICCA Fall Salon in that it is an individual competition instead of an Inter-Club competition.  The projected images and prints are entered individually instead as a whole club. Because this is an individual competition, entry fees apply. For each person submitting digital or print entries, the entry fee is $4.00 per division entered (digital/print). For those entering both prints and digital images the cost would be $8.00.

Our CICCA Club Representative, Mary Cattell, must have all prints and digital images by the April 23rd club meeting in order to send them to Iowa before the May 5th deadline. Mary will email the CICCA Spring Salon Invitation with entry forms and labels to club members as the date nears.
