Ray Silva presents Black and White editing

  • Champaign Public Library, Robeson Pavilion Room C 200 West Green Street Champaign, IL, 61820 United States (map)

Black and White the oldest form of photography. Several members here remember when B & W was the only film and prints around.

If you are ready to step out of your “COLOR” habit, lets discuss methods of shooting and processing for Black and White in the “Digital Age”. This presentation will review why Black and White is intriguing and how the masters captured and processed prints. With the latest technology, we will review some methods of converting RAW digital images into Black and White.

This presentation will demonstrate a few workflows in converting RAW digital files into black and white images. Although there are many ways, I’ll discuss methods in Lightroom and Photoshop.

Come hear Ray Silva present an informative talk about processing of black and white images with photography software. You won’t be disappointed!
