The Central Illinois Camera Club Association (CICCA) is a regional group including mostly central Illinois and eastern Iowa camera clubs which wish to join for the opportunity to learn and participate in friendly competition with one another. Our local club, the Champaign County Camera Club (CCCC) is one of nine Affiliate Clubs of the CICCA organization.
Each spring, CICCA sponsors an individual competition. The individual entry fee is $5 per division entered (Digital and/or Print). For those entering Prints and Digital, the cost would then be $10. Please make your check out to CCCC; one check for both divisions if applicable would be appropriate.
The 2024 CICCA Spring Salon’s Invitation and rules can be downloaded. The entrant form is part of the invitation. Members of Champaign County Camera Club may compete in the Print format and/or Digital Images format.
Digital images should be in one of four categories: A). Nature, B). Photo-Realistic, and C). Altered Reality, and D). Urban Decay (3 of each, or a total of 12 per club member). The dimensions of the image should be no larger than 1400 pixels horizontally and no larger than 1050 pixels vertically. Label your digital images: Category-image#-Club#-Competiton#-title (eg: A-l-02-37-LuskCreekSunrise.jpg). Send your digital images, along with your completed entry form, to champaigncountycameraclub@gmail.com before Monday, April 29th. Please add “CICCA images” in the subject line of your email. Please include your digital entry form with your email.
Prints -- any subject -- (limit of 3 in each of 4 categories, or a total of 12 prints): small & large monochrome and small & large color. The official print label can be afixed to the upper right of the back of the print; please also fill out the Print Entry Form (for individuals) from which Mary Cattell will prepare the master Entry form for the whole club.. Note that you should NOT FILL IN THE PRINT# in the upper right of the label.
Photographic prints with checks for $5, made out to “CCCC,” will have to be sent/brought to Mary Cattell at the latest by the club meeting of April 22nd, 2024. Checks for $5 for digital entities, made out to “CCCC,” must be given to Kim Ormsby before April 29th.
